The largest harbour on the North Devon coast, Ilfracombe’s port has been in existence since at least the 12th century. Today it’s still a working harbour with fish and seafood landed daily, but also offers many North Devon attractions. Visits to Lundy Island are available from here, as well as Ilfracombe’s Sea Safari and tours on the Hampshire Rose, a former RNLI Lifeboat.
